The clock continues to dangle just in front of midnight for the Lightning, in what was called a must win by the Lightning players and coaching staff the Bolts came out and impressed their home fans with the most impressive game that they had seen in the series so far.
Brad Bombadir buried his first of the campaign in the 1st and that was all the scoring we seen from either side.
The Lightning continued to pressure the Av's and it paid off early in the 2nd with the Bolts adding 2 more goals to there lead, however Tanguay's first of the game pulled the Av's within 2 with 1 frame left.
Oneill and Mara, who was the game's 1st star, each scored to give the Bolts their largest lead of the finals at 5-1, the Av's gained some confidence by making it 5-2 but still walked away with their heads down after 60 minutes, that is going to be one long ride home to Denver.
