Canucks Complete Comeback

After being down in the series 2-0 and 3-2 to the TFNHL's most dominant team, the Vancouver Canucks completed one of the more stunning upsets in league history last night, defeating the San Jose Sharks 6-2 last night in San Jose. The Canucks roared out of the games early in the game and had the Sharks trying to play catch-up right from the beginning. Two goals from Markus Naslund within 25 seconds of each other stunned the home crowd. Robert Lang followed five minutes into the period with his third goal of the series. San Jose tried to come back and got a power play goal from Marian Hossa late in the second period. But in a flurry of goals midway through the third, the Canucks put the game on ice. David Vyborny scored at 11:23, and was followed by a power play goal from Robert lang about two minutes later. Just 32 seconds later it was Keith Primeau scoring to put the Canucks up 6-1. Vincent Damphousse put one in for San Jose but it was a true case of too little, too late.
